Weekend Away | London

So last weekend i went to London and thought i could share some photos and stories with you guys. It was our grandparents 50th anniversary (i know.. amazing) so we decided to do something pretty big, we originally booked a week in The Keys (Florida, USA), but because of storm Irma last year, the hotel devastatingly got destroyed. We thought it could have been re-built in time but we were told that it wouldn’t  😦  So.. we planned a weekend in London pretty last minute.

We went on the Saturday morning and stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Regents Park. The hotel has a nice pool and the rooms are pretty big and spacious. When we arrived the staff were really welcoming and we went up to our rooms to unpack. As we had suites, we had passes for the club room in the hotel. This included food and drinks free of expense and the variety of stuff was vast.

On the Saturday we went on the London eye and visited the imperial war museum. We’ve been to London many times but have never been to this particular museum, it was great. The London eye was amazing as always, though i didn’t get any photo’s as my phone ran out of charge 😦

The Sunday was my favourite day, we went on a river lunch boat ride. The views were great and it was a sunny day, so we were lucky. The food was amazing and so was the service.

Well thats the end of my post! Thank you so much for reading, make sure to like this if  you enjoyed it.

I’ve been to London once when I was young, we were there for 5 days and then flew out to Kenya. But it was really nice despite the short duration of our stay.
    Your pictures are lovely!
